Vegetable

The toy tools provide cutting, pressing, and squeezing to help children make different dough shapes. However, many toy dough tools on the market are based on geometric shapes. Therefore, the team combined both children's ergonomic considerations and different vegetables' shapes to design this tool set. The design challenge was to identify the right ergonomic that can fit children hand size so the team produced many sketch models in order to test the comfort.

Hair Salon

The team designed four cute animal shapes so children can learn to understand different animals and creative different hair styles for them to develop their own craft skills. The team made a large area of the pressure plate on the bottom of the animals, so children can easily operate. Children need to put the dough inside the animal toy, and through squeezing, the dough hair will be squeezed out and trim them. Dough is a material that can be reused. Moreover, the toy is suitable for playing with other people, such as friends and parents, and creates a lot of fun by making funny hair.

Pokermate Deluxe

The present design is deliberately developed for older persons to enjoy card playing during pandemic – younger adults will stay at home for work and have more time to take care of their grandparents. Poker is printed on a fine smooth paper so that player could use less effort to shuffle. Sans-serif fonts are printed on upper left and lower right corners are being enlarged so that players could read clearly even if they are in low sensory abilities. It is the best design for players who enjoy playing Big Two, Chinese Poker and Matching Games with all family members with the oval wooden stand.

Since COVID 19 is spreading around the world, home schooling has become a new trend everywhere. OVO melody is a toy for beginners to create music just like playing toy trains or rolling balls on tracks. The designer intends this devise to also bring visually disabled people's needs to the design to let learning music become easier by touching real things.
