Minimals

Minimals are an adorable line of modular animals characterized by the use of primary color palette and geometric shapes. The name derives, at a time, from the word "Minimalism" and the contraction of "Mini-Animals". Certainly, they're set out to expose the essence of toyness through eliminating all non-essential forms, features and concepts. Together, they create a pantone of colors, animals, clothes and archetypes, encouraging people to choose the character they identify themselves with.

Rocking Zebra

Children love this frisky rocking toy, whilst the contemporary look, funky graphics and natural wood, are real eye-catchers in the modern home. The design challenge involved retaining the essential character of a classic heirloom toy, whilst using advanced techniques and a modular construction system to allow for future additional animal types with minimal part changes. The packaged product also needed to be compact and under 10kg for direct internet sales channels. Use of custom print laminate is a real first, resulting in perfect color/pattern rendition on a totally scratch-resistant surface

Movable wooden animals

The diversity animal toys are moving with different ways, simple but fun. The abstract animal shapes absorb children to imagine.There are 5 animals in the group: Pig, Duck, Giraffe, Snail and Dinosaur. Duck's head move from right to left when you pick it up from the desk,it seems to say "NO" to you; Giraffe's head can move from up and down; Pig's nose, Snail's and Dinosaur 's heads move from inside to outside when you turn their tails. All of the movements make people smile. Also all of the movements drive children to play in different ways, like pulling, pushing tails, turning heads...etc

Challenge was to design a toy kit that offers unlimited possibilities for building creatures with simple, organic forms that foster creativity and perception of aesthetics.

Tumbler" Contentment "

My inspiration came from the nature and my feelings of surrounding world. I would like to shape the different kinds of materials in a simple and funny way. Let children play with them to recognize the physical world, stimulate their imagination and help them understand their surrounding environment. How to have a rainbow? How to hug a summer wind? I am always touched by some subtle things and feel very satisfied and happy. How to store and how to own? Enough is as good as a feast.
